Welcome to Gremio, an emerging collective focused on presenting and fusing the talents of visionary artists from the Mexican and International [electronic] music scene. Gremio, translating literally to 'Guild,' embodies a collaborative spirit where artists unite to exhibit a tapestry of sound always seeking forward-thinking electronic music destined for open-minded clubs, venues and spaces.

GREM1.0. is the inaugural chapter of a musical odyssey, immerse yourself in these sonic narratives. As you embark on this auditory journey, you'll encounter a kaleidoscope of electronic soundscapes, each track being a distinct expression of the artist's unique perspective and sound design.

Firstly, “On Das” seemingly regresses us back in time, the Chinese violins and dungeon dembow beats feel almost ritualistic. Radeco plays with the tempo, sets a special ominous vibe and has an impecable precision for organic cuts conjuring his unique nature for sound experimentation.

Label co-founder Rodrigo aka backslash(\) is introduced with “Adenoid”. The blissful and atmospheric soundscape of the beginning might be deceiving as the track evolves with powerful rhythm. The fast-cascading biting bassline is the perfect example of percussive electronics that the artist dabbles in.

Consequently, Yourte Bugarach finds his way creating playful sounds and terraforming them into tracks, in this case, it’s this psychedelic piece called ”MTG 300”. Delving in 150 bpms, the guitar riffs, synthetic cowbells, and Middle Eastern-like sounds will have us moving as if we were hypnotized by a snake charmer.

“Just Yig” makes use of many percussions arranged in a way to depict the latin and world rhythms. Nevertheless, the artist found the way to perfectly load his track with tremendous energy, incorporating Ghetto-ish vocal samples and a baseline which is attempted for club use only.

In his second attempt, Eduardo Cervantes aka Yourte creates “Xing-Xing”. This one bursts with a mixture of wobbly elastic sounds frenetically accompanied by a set of incomprehensible vocals that characterize the track. Yourte delivering once again his singular method of sound design using unimagined sounds.

SEVVSTY project opens to the world thanks to Gabriel O’Shea. “002” showcases the multidisciplinary artist's talent with some skin crawling-electronica fueled with insatiable lust, proper for a dark parade.

As the intention of the label is, in the first place, to bring to the table artists from Mexico City and the suburban area we now encounter with acclaimed El irreal Veintiuno and his track “Mizu”. Prehispanic drums, cymbals and cowbells set the tone combining this with Berlinian style techo elements and beats proper to an abandoned warehouse. Bryan Dálvez employs his wizardry to combine equal feelings of exaltation and paranoia in his first track for Gremio.

Tapenade shows us a more dancefloor oriented version of rrawlife. The cut will drench our ears with a Brazilian Funk style aimed to make us dance in full-body motion. Detuning his synths until forming warped sounds, making use of a deep chord as bass and never letting go the Brazilian vocals, this track displays a pinch of the versatility of the artist and multi-intumentalist rrawlife.

“Radittsu” will turn you into your Super Saiyan form and at the same time, prepare you for a fight against Vegeta. It incorporates sounds and samples from Dragon Ball Z and makes allusion to Raditz, Goku’s older brother in the saga. Not counter-intuitively, some appropriate Hentai-esque vocals appear mid-track to make it even more explosive adding the producer’a unique watermark.

Silverfisher also is mischievous at the beginning. Setting off with simplistic cartoonish BONK sound sources only to transform into a combination of metallic sounds and weird samples that will simulate an alien chant, really some percussive intensity that provides a feeling of hopeful euphoria.

Lastly, “003” from SEVVSTY is an contemplative trip through the forest, it can be best described as a downtempo tribalglitch track generating an intimate symbiosis between rave and danza. The Artist features both massive bass kicks and reggaeton spiciness without ever lowering the ambient sounds in the background that are designed to provide a feeling of being in a pitch-black rainforest while being watched by dozens of eyes. This track aims for specific corners of your brain with its capacity of crafting pupil-dilating experiences in your mind.

We allowed some artists to release two tracks as a gesture since they will be active on the label in a present future. The featured tracks feel like an adequate merge between cultures and genres encompassing a plethora of generes going from latin-inspired techno to leftfield; arranging an immersive and dynamic listening experience suitable for festivals, basements or even living rooms. Get ready for 50 minutes of weaponized sound brought to you by Gremio.
